The New English Made Morley Mk II Shotgun Gunslip

We decided after listening to our customers that the time had come for us to change, to improve some of the features of our very successful long running Morley Shotgun Gunslip. We have kept many of the old features that made the Morley Shotgun Slip the standard by which others are judged. We could have gone to the Far East but we decided to stay with an English Manufacturer to give us a greater control of the quality and supply.

Many of our customers told us that they prefer a fleece lining to snuggle their guns into but we know from our gun-making friends that it must be a synthetic fleece as natural fleece can cause problems with metal blacking. So synthetic fleece it is.

The gunslip is made from a green waterproof polyester material that when it gets muddy can be easily cleaned, because of this it still makes it the most popular material with our customers. All of the edge binding and mid point carrying handles are in a contrasting brown. Two mid point carrying handles makes the gunslip easier to carry when negotiating obstacles like fences, gates and ditches rather than having a gun swinging about on just a shoulder strap.

We still have an adjustable 2” wide shoulder strap whose width spreads the weight and also allows for carrying on the shoulder with the strap length set to your personal preference in carrying style. A full length zip for easy & quick access finishes in a sewn capped end for extra barrel protection without stressing the zip. The gunslip end is finished with a hanging loop to make storage and drying after a wet day easier. Inside the gunslip is an ample stock butt pocket for extra protection by holding the gun in position in the slip during use and adds extra protection from placing stress on the zip.

On the outside of the slip is a zipped lined pocket with six elasticised loops for holding chokes and two other loops for retaining a choke key. Or it can be used for carrying other items you need in the field like a pull through or shotgun certificate. With all these features in mind we feel that this New Morley Mk II Gun Slip displays a range of features showing it has been designed with the user in mind rather than just another gun cover made by someone who has never carried a gun in the field.

Priced realistically at only £34 makes it excellent value for money.
