When started 20 years ago Brusletto & Co AS in Geilo in Norway were the first company we bought from, buying blades for home knife makers. As this is our 20th Anniversary, we felt we should offer a Limited Edition Anniversary knife from Brusletto.
We decided on a version of the Brusletto Bamsen knife as one of the first knives we sold, (it was then called the Hallingen the name of the mountain that over looks Geilo) then very slightly altered it was called the Bamsen, an affectionate name for a Bear.
Sadly, Brusletto are going to discontinue the manufacture of this knife so we thought it fitting to make this our Anniversary knife. It has a 12c27 bead blasted blade, marked to show it is a Limited Edition 20th Anniversary knife, with a handle of American Nut Root, which is a form of Walnut. The specification of the knife & sheath will otherwise be the same as the Bamsen. We do not intend to have more than 100 pieces made & marked.
