10" BOWIE BLADE & BRASS FINGER GUARD Ref: BOW-10	From J. Nowill & Sons of Sheffield. A chance to make you own Bowie with a Sheffield made blade. Hand ground, back filed, polished, & marked J. Nowill & Son Sheffield. You will probably want to put a sharper edge on the blade but this is traditionally carried out after the knife is handled & completed. Unless you are very quick expect some delay in delivery as we have initially limited stock which will not last very long & they have to be individually hand ground. Made from Carbon Steel .85 carbon & .85 manganese content. Full tang, 404 mm overall length with a 6mm back. The blade is also supplied with a rough cast brass finger guard (not available separately) which we have put with the blade as a package.
