CHERRY WOOD BLOCKS Ref: WOOD-CH Cherry (Prunas Avium) approximate size 35 x 35 x 152mm. Nice light coloured straight grained wood, durable & easy to work, polishes well & darkens to a mellow colour with age. Handles, spacers & some carving applications.
EBONY WOOD BLOCK Ref: WOOD-EB Ebony (Diospyros Ebenum) approximate size 32 x 32 x 128mm from piano keys to inlays, handles, spacers, capping, chess pieces, musical instrument turnscrews, etc., this black wood polished beautifully.
LIME WOOD CARVING BLOCK Ref: WOOD-LM Approximate size 90 x 90 x 45mm. This is a nice clean wood to carve stick tops & other carving projects. Creamy yellow maturing from yellow brown to pale brown. Other longer blocks 90 x 90 available.
WALNUT WOOD BLOCKS Ref: WOOD-WL American Black Walnut (Juglans Nigra) approximate size 35 x 35 128mm. Good durable hardwood that finishes well, handles, spacers, etc. Larger pieces are available; generally we cut from 30mm planks, call if you are interested.
